Vaastu and Seven Basic Needs

Vaastu Shastra, the sacred science from Ancient Hindu scriptures and Indian Vedas, can be used to create and enhance stress-free life and to acquire the Seven Basic Needs of every individual.

Every individual in the Universe whether single or married, wants to live happily using basic needs in a good relationship with family and society.

Let us discuss basic needs and their importance according to Vaastu Shastra.

First Need: Health

Good Health is the First Need, without good health you cannot grow in life or cannot work hard.  Below are some of the Vaastu Shastra principles using which we can have a good health.

1. Toilet in Northeast direction, may lead to incurable diseases which might ends in surgeries.
2. Couple using Northeast bedrooms have to face pregnancy problems, and abnormal childbirth.
3. Sleeping head towards North direction will cause Sleep
4. Toilets, Bore-well, underground water tanks, swimming pools in Southwest direction causes Anxiety and depression.
5. Bedrooms in Southeast will develops heat related diseases like, high blood pressure, irritated moods as a routine.
6. As Sun rises from East, if it is blocked and any heavy items here will creates Eye related problems, Paralysis and Migraines.
7. Store room in Northwest direction will brings good health and longevity. 

Second need: Good Income, Wealth

1. North directions increase the opportunities to attract the money. Keep the Northeast direction downward so that natural flow of the water should be from Southwest to Northeast
2. On the contrary if the situation is reverse that will create obstacles to attract the money or wealth.
3. Boost the North pole energy to allow it to flow towards South and accumulate there by closing the South.
4. Make the main entrance from the successful direction; and beautify it as you can.
5. The entrance should be free from obstacle inside and outside as well.
6. Never pronounce words like “I am poor” in the house. Usually people use to say this phrase “We are poor” and exactly the Vaastu Purush bless them with and people will attract Poverty.
7. Having Pooja room in North, Northeast and East will bring Wealth, Wisdom and prosperity in that house.
8. Placing Mirrorson East or North wall attracts More wealth and prosperity in the life
9. West wall faces East and South wall faces North thus placing Mirrors on these walls could reflect back the prosperity coming in your house
10. Place a beautiful picture of Waterfall, Water lake or any other water element, on the Northeast direction that will attract Wealth

Need Third: Good Spouse (Life Partner)

A right life partner makes the life journey excellent and easy. Having a bedroom in the correct direction according Vaastu-shastra Principle will boost the husband and wife relationship to make life happy.

1. Mirrors reflecting the bed in the bedroom are the main reason for marriage break up. These mirrors encourage disloyalty. Larger is the mirror, larger will be the harmful effects in the married life. So, remove these mirrors from bedroom
2. Placing Purple or Red rose flowers in the Southwest direction will helps to improve the relationship and enjoying the ecstasies in married life
3. Any declined ground level towards West direction would expose the spouse with excessive negative energies to work against married life
4. Water bodies should be always in the Northeast direction of the house. If this element is placed in wrong direction, then Men folk of the house is likely to develop a roaming eye tendency and can escort to disloyalty

Fourth Need: Name and Fame

1. This is important, the Name and Fame gives you respect; you could gain from the society where you are working for.
2. Money can’t give you name and fame but, the Name and Fame can attract money.
3. Probably you are not getting Fame or Accreditation even putting after out-most efforts, there may be miss-allocation of things or objects which are against the Vaastu Shastra principles.
4. Enlarged or improved East direction can give you Name and Fame. Keep this direction clean and clutter free. Do not put any heavy items which may increase the weight in East.

Fifth Need: Respectful Son

1. Purest form of relationship in this modern time needs answers, clarifications, with give and take respect.
2. Having the North direction higher than South will result in uncomfortable relationship between father and Son.
3. If Son occupies the Southwest direction, that makes the Son dominating and brings a conflict between the Father and Son.
4. Never abuse the Northeast direction as it could create bad relationship between Father and Son.

Sixth Need: Security from Enemies

1. This is the second highest need; everyone requires security for their lives and houses as well.
2. Check the Southeast, whether it’s according to Vaastu principles, if not there would be a Security problem.
3. See the main entrance; and water sources also. These are related to wealth and home security.
4. Bedroom in Southwest will save you from the fear of enemies. Whereas bedroom in South will destroys Evil energies and fill it with Goodwill and pleasure.
5. Overhead water tank and Store in Southwest will also trigger off the fear of enemies.

Seventh need: Spirituality

1. Make your environment so healthy, it will create love towards humanity. To accelerate this use Violet shades maximum in your life.
2. Put together index finger and thumb for some time to increase the spirituality and to focus on your karmas.
3. Spiritual practice positively moulds our personality and significantly improves the spiritual vibrations of our house.
4. Drinking Coconut water, Fruit Juices and probably Cow milk will increase the Sattva Guna.
5. Which helps in reduces the negative effects and thus increases the spirituality.
