Compound wall is an unavoidable part of any construction may be residential or commercial complex. As per Vaastu tips, make this wall after completion of house or structure in all respect or in all aspects.
This is the first layer of protection from strangers in that house. Vaastu Shastra has highlighted the importance and necessity of this wall around the House.
These are some important Vaastu guidelines for constructing this wall.
Muhurat for Constructing a Compound Wall:
Vaastu shastra gives due importance to timing for constructing this wall.
As per Vaastu, construct this wall very after after completion of Water source, Bore-well and storage section.
The purpose of the wall is to give protective layer to the house.
Construction Streamline:
Start this wall construction from Southeast on Auspicious day and Time.
Construct the main building in the Southwest part of the Plot. Keep Northern area open and stock the building material in this region.
Height of the Compound Wall:
Regardless of it’s a residential or a commercial property, this wall should never be higher than the building. The height of the wall should be like it cannot cut the incoming natural light.
Since Sunlight plays vital role in increasing the positive vibrations in the property, so a compound wall should never be too high, the ideal is 4-6 feet in height.
Thickness and Directions:
Since the South and West directions should be heavy, So, compound wall in these directions should be heavier [Thicker] than the other directions.
Making in thicker the South-west part, there will be probability of absorbing the bright Sunshine. Thus, having a thicker compound wall in the South and West directions can give a cooler feeling in the summer season.
General Vaastu Guidelines for Compound Wall
There are four Peripheral parts of a Vaastu Purush mandala as follows
Outer: Paishachyabhag
Second Row: Manushabhag
Third Row: Daivabhag
Center of the Plot: Brahmasthan
Paishachyabhag: This area belons to Demon. Avoid house construction in this area.
In Temples, utilize this area for Pradakshina Marg.
Use Manushabhag and Daivabhag for House construction.
Brahmasthan: In residential houses this area should open and light in weight.
The House or Plot is South facing, Place a Main gate in 4th Pada of this direction starting from Southeast.
Gates of this wall should always open in a clockwise direction.
Construct two gates instead of one for entrance. One gate can be used by residents and other can be used for vehicles.
But as if your plot is having slope towards South, West or Southwest And there are no existing neighborhood constructions, then first get your plot leveled and then build this wall before starting construction of main structure.
The compound wall should not be rounded at the Northeast corner though it can make an acute angle here.
Keep the height of compound wall more in South and West as compared to North and East. (May be 6 inches)
South direction Road , then where should I keep Gate?!south East or South west in compound wall.?
