External Factors
The placement of main entrance door is important in any house / flat. Preferable entrance is Northeast, followed by East, North, North-west and West. South, Southeast and Southwest main entry houses are not recommended.
- Check the location. Ensure the building is free from all Vedh [ Vidhi Shula, Dwar Vedha etc.]
- House / Flat Should not be adjoining to a Temple, Garbage dump, Burial ground, Polluting industrial unit, Government administrative building etc.
- Prefer A building which have a clean area with a pleasant environment
- Avoid the house or plot which have a depression or declined towards South direction
- Inappropriate wall colors, wrong placement of elements like – Kitchen, Toilet bathroom & main doors are the major Vaastu defects
- The House / Flat must be square or rectangular in shape
- Avoid any Cut or Extension in any direction
Buying new House Check Inside Factors:
These are major Vaastu [Dosh] defects
- There should not be a Staircase, Kitchen, Toilet, Store Room and / or the Master bedroom in Northeast direction
- Underground / Over head Water tank in Southeast
- Master Bed Room should never in in Southeast
- Never construct a Basement, Underground Water Tank, and Lower floor level in Southwest direction
- Master Bed Room should not be in Northwest direction
- Toilet side by to Main entrance door and in front of main entrance door is the major Vaastu dosh
- The master bedroom must be in the Southwest direction
- Kitchen must be in the Southeast and second preferable direction is Northwest
